Recently, a couple from Thailand finished building their Maharishi Vastu home in Bangkok.  When the house was about 75% complete their vedic architect visited the site and asked them how they planned to build the vastu fence.  They were intending to go for an economical wooden fence and he pointed out to them that a more substantial fence of either stone or brick was always preferred and would bring an even greater sense of security. They took his advice and built a brick wall for their fence.

The area of Bangkok where they live has been hit by the recent, devastating floods and now they are very glad they made this investment.  

Water was flowing all around their area and started to rise against the brick vastu fence.  The fence held the water outside and prevented any damage to the house even though water was surrounding the entire house. The wall was like a little fortress to the house. Even the water in the pond inside the fence receded into the ground and merged with the flood waters that flowed everywhere outside of the fence. The surrounding water came up near the top of the vastu wall but not over it. The wooden gate was covered with sandbags to stop the water.  The owners were very thankful that the dirty, disease and trash-filled water flowing around their neighborhood and just outside their fence did not affect them in any way.  The water was filled with debris from millions of other homes and even toxic factories to the north of them.

Before the floods, the vastu fence just looked attractive to them. It was not until the water started flowing into their area and around their house that the significance of the vastu fence and the “Vastu Shield effect” occurred to them.  This is the experience of many, many other  Maharishi Vastu homeowners who have had their Maharishi Vastu homes “tested” by natural forces. The protection is there when it is needed and is silently supporting when the elements of nature are quiet.
