Hurricane Irene versus Maharishi Vastu

Hurricane Irene has left the eastern portion of the US but not without substantial damage to property. This was a massive storm that carried high winds and torrential rain. In addition, the storm center spread out over hundreds of miles.

A recently completed Maharishi Vastu home in Branford is situated on the Connecticut coastline just a block from the ocean.

As you can see from the photos in the album we created. The damage to the neighborhood, both from flooding and wave action, was extensive.  An entire tree was uprooted and landed on a neighbor’s porch next door.

The Maharishi vastu house, its fence and its yard remain pristine and untouched.

The Vastu homeowner related her experience in these words: “I felt totally confident that our house would be ok even though this was a 100 Year Storm because, the day before I could feel the house powering up....it was really quite amazing. It was as if there was a shield of power rising. We love our Maharishi Vastu !”

Maharishi has emphasized the quality of invincibility provided by Vastu communities and homes. There are already numerous examples of Vastu homes surviving undamaged in the face of natural disasters. This “Vastu Shield” effect brings protection and safety from outside negative influences.  It is a combination of all the principles and  unique elements of Maharishi Vastu design and construction  coming together to create a truly impenetrable barrier to negativity.  The orientation of the house, the  placement of rooms  and function of activies, the proportions and dimensioning,  the kalash, and of course  the vastu fence; all these various parts are essential to create this element of protection and invincibility in the face of harmful influence.

A similar experience was reported previously from a Maharishi Vastu facility in Houston, TX . In both 2005 and 2007, hurricanes hit the Houston area, the storm in 2005 was Hurricane Rita, which was characterized as very destructive. You can read the experience of the MVA facility in this storm at the following link:  http://www.maharishivastu.org/testimonials under “protection from fires and hurricanes”.
