We wanted to share some experiences of people who have recently moved into a Maharishi Vastu home for the first time. They certainly speak for themselves of the dramatic transformation that takes place when someone moves into Vastu. Maharishi Vastu homeowners have been sharing their experiences with us for the past 20 + years, and we can say with all certainty that these experiences are not isolated in fact they are quite common. We hope they inspire you as they do us, even after 20 years. If you would like to see photos of some of the houses that gave rise to the experiences below, please visit:

The experience of living in Maharishi Vastu is highly individual yet certain themes run through the expressions of those who have the opportunity to live in Vastu.  In keeping with the trend towards smaller homes, all of the comments below come from people who reside in small Vastu homes.  This demonstrates that the size of the dwelling is not a restriction on the effects of Maharishi Vastu living!   You can view some of these houses and their interiors on our Facebook page photo album at,

The change in the world economy has brought about more creative thinking from those who have a desire to begin to build and live in Maharishi Vastu now. The trend we have been seeing over the last year can best be described as “go small”. People from around the globe, South Africa, Finland, Europe, Canada, the Ukraine, and the US are building small Vastu buildings to accommodate their needs and desires simultaneously.
Many have gotten creative and are building small, individual buildings for different functions, say an office or studio workshop with a meditation space in it, or, a bedroom, bath and meditation combination, or simply a meditation pavilion.  Read the full article in our latest issue of  At Home in Maharishi Vastu,
and be sure to view more small homes in our design portfolio under the services and design tab on this site.

As children grow in years and maturity, they naturally express their own experience of life more easily . We have gathered the expressions of several teenagers living in Maharishi Vastu and they are quite amazing. Clearly, Vastu living affects them in a very positive and nourishing way, supporting their growth to adulthood easily and without strain.
