Maharishi International University launches new distance education course

MIU has just launched a new, FREE course, Introduction to Maharishi Vedic Architecture consisting of 11 lessons and 4 bonus videos. The lessons are comprised of edited versions of our webinar series and will be supplemented with periodic, live Q & A sessions open to all who register for the course. MERU Campus construction update

The founder of the Maharishi Vastu architecture program, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, wanted the Maharishi European Research University campus (MERU), in the southeastern corner of the Netherlands, to be the center of his knowledge and administrative headquarters for his worldwide organization far into the future. The location is in a spectacular location, sited in the beautiful, enormous, and silent Meinweg Forest, a highly cherished landmark well-known throughout Europe. Maharishi created a masterplan for the campus construction and watched as the first 20 homes were constructed.

Many of the plans for improvements and reconstruction of the MERU campus were put on hold for a decade as governmental review and approvals slowly progressed, and now, in 2021, construction is planned to begin on the next phase.

Our international director of Maharishi Vastu architecture, Dr. Eike Hartmann, and his team, have just announced that this summer MERU will begin construction on three new residences for National Directors who frequently come to the campus to work and enjoy its rich atmosphere. The next, and much larger phase is expected to follow quickly:

Residence Building for Administrators and Staff—74% of the financing is in place to build a large residential facility for 70 administrators and staff who currently live off campus.
Dr. Tony Nader Institute of Maharishi Ayurveda including an Ayurveda clinic. Two thirds of the budget for this building has been raised.
Apartment Building—A 22-unit apartment building has been designed to accommodate both permanent residents and guest rentals. Ten of the units are pre-sold and as soon as five more have been purchased construction will proceed.

The final phase will include a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility, a kitchen/dining/office building, and an operations building. When all of these are completed, the legacy of knowledge and the various technologies that Maharishi revived and gave to the world will be housed on one perfect Vastu campus.
