Campaign to Create Vastu communities
The easiest way to live in Vastu is to move into a Vastu community that a developer is creating. We’ve found over the years that developers respond to the marketplace, and so we are beginning an initiative to demonstrate the strength of the Maharishi Vastu market to developers around the US.
Initially, we are targeting the Indo-American communities in Des Moines, Iowa, and New Jersey. We will compile lists of prospective clients for developers via a Facebook campaign and local lectures. We are using Facebook advertising to reach a wide audience in the targeted areas, and will supplement it with posters, and other forms of publicity
The campaign is modeled on similar Facebook campaigns currently running in eight European countries that have increased instruction in the TM technique five fold.
The first lecture will be Sunday, May 17 in Des Moines, Iowa, the capital of the state. The next will be Saturday, May 30 in central New Jersey, home to a very large Indo-American community and the focus of a group already searching for land to develop as a Vastu community.
The goal of the campaign is to create developments on land that is compliant with Maharishi Vastu site requirements and locate builders/developers who are fully supportive of building according to the principles of Vastu. In our experience, if these two aspects of the process of owning a Maharishi Vastu home are already satisfied, the building process and time frame is much simplified for most clients.
In the US we receive inquiries all the time from people across the nation wanting to build Maharishi Vastu homes. Our aim in linking with builder/developers is to simplify the design/build process, as any developer would do by providing land and home designs that are already approved. Home sizes will vary and be dictated by the needs of the clients. As these will be communities, the larger ones will have amenities such as community centers, walking trails, and play grounds.
From many of our earlier e-news articles, it is clear that living in an area surrounded by other Maharishi Vastu homes enhances the influence of happiness, harmony, good fortune, and well being that comes from an individual Maharishi Vastu home. And, we cannot forget the Vastu shield effect so strongly demonstrated during a recent brush fire adjacent to the North Campus Village development in Iowa and detailed in our last enews article.
We hope these test presentations in the US will inspire other countries to create a similar initiative. In the US, we plan to repeat these presentations in other areas including Ohio, Massachusetts, and Texas as soon as we feel the formula is successful.
